Lana doesn’t understand it at all.

Who could possibly think she caused the explosion at the Kents’ farm? Or that she had done something to Clark, killed him, buried his body somewhere?

It was bad that it made no sense. It was worse that whomever had arranged this wanted her dead. Wanted her in jail just long enough to kill her.

Lana wasn’t surprised that Chloe had figured it out, rescued her. Wasn’t surprised that Chloe seemed to know instinctively how to survive on the run.

Lana would have been surprised to know that Chloe thought the same about her.
